The ARD survey ran from Monday to Wednesday. Compared to an Infratest-dimap survey published last week, the AfD gained 3 percentage points, while the SPD increased by 1 point. The Left lost 2 points, the CDU lost 1 point. The Greens and the BSW remained unchanged. The FDP was not listed separately.

A survey by the Insa Institute for the Nordkurier on Thursday showed 36 percent for the AfD and 33 percent for the SPD. The Left followed with 11 percent, ahead of the CDU with 7 percent and the Greens with 5 percent. The BSW would fail with 4 percent, the FDP was not named. The survey ran from Tuesday last week to Tuesday.

There will be elections in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania on Sunday next week, and a House of Representatives election will also take place in Berlin at the same time. A coalition of the SPD and the Left Party is currently in power in Schwerin, which, according to the surveys, no longer has a majority. The only thing that is politically and mathematically conceivable is a three-way alliance made up of the SPD, the Left Party and the Greens.

According to ZDF, if the Prime Minister were directly elected, 61 percent would choose the incumbent Prime Minister Schwesig and 28 percent would choose AfD challenger Holm. A red-red coalition found the greatest support at 46 percent. But you would lack the majority.

In the ARD survey, 58 percent were very satisfied or satisfied with Schwesig's work. AfD top candidate Holm achieved 27 percent satisfaction. When it comes to the question of which party should lead the next state government, the SPD is ahead with 55 percent, ahead of the AfD with 32 percent.
