The truth: The busy steel bee

Life is a long assembly line and every day is a workpiece that needs to be ground and welded. Nobody understands this better than Bärbel Bas, who, as Federal Minister for Labor and Social Affairs, learned to weld in person at the higher technical college in Dinslaken and can not only file a U-shaped steel, but knows what it is and means.

Namely: every evening a bruised body and black hands everywhere - and not just from replacing the printer cartridges in her office as head of the personnel service department, the same position she was given at the company health insurance company BKK futur in 2007, 20 years after her training in 1987 as an office assistant at the Duisburg transport company.

As a secondary school student with a technical college entrance qualification, the member of the Parliamentary Left has known for almost 60 years that the enemy is barricaded behind tailor-made suits and, as deputy parliamentary group leader of the SPD in the Bundestag and member of the Ruhr SPD's spokesperson group, she lets off a lot of steam on her Harley-Davidson, which she has just as much reason to do as a Verdi trade unionist and as a member of MSV Duisburg in the 3rd league.

In addition, Bärbel Bas has sat on the Health Committee in Berlin since her further training as a health insurance business economist in 2002 and is involved as a recipient of the Grand Cross of the Cross of Merit, sorry: the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany in the Duisburg City Council for youth and health policy and as President of the German Bundestag from 2021 to 2025, who is also a member of the supervisory board of Hüttenwerke Krupp Mannesmann and the Johannes Rau Society knows how to tell everything apart without making a fuss.

Too much is never enough! Bärbel Bas never says no when it comes to getting involved, whether in the executive committee of the University of Duisburg-Essen support association or with the Bundestag Maccabees; And whether it's Welthungerhilfe, Hope's Angel Foundation or Women Helping Women, Ms. Bas can do it all, just as she was taught as a working-class child.

Credibility cannot be bought cheaply or inherited like the wealthy! No, you have to achieve something as a member of Deutsche Welthungerhilfe as well as as a member of the Salvatorkirche building association and become a human resources management economist during evening studies from 2005 to 2007!

A worker's daughter helps around the clock. As a member of the Duisburg Tafel/Homeless Aid and holder of the Grand Cross of the Order of Isabel la Católica, she makes herself useful for the Neudorf citizens' association, does not back down as patron of the Duisburg train station mission and, as President of the Bundestag, also holds the position in the NRW state group of the Bundestag SPD at Wildwasser Duisburg, the advice center on sexual violence. Bärbel Bas has nerves like hard rubber and supports her wife in the AWO Duisburg as well as in the Aids-Hilfe Wesel and the Rote Funken carnival society, serves as a member of the SPD's Gustav Heinemann Sponsorship Prize citizens' association and as a clinic member of the Duisburg Board of Trustees, helps the zebra kids on the sub-district board of the Duisburg Social Democrats as deputy chairwoman of the Malteser Hospice sports club St. Raphale in the youth department of Friedrich Möllen and still stays overtime as patron of the Glückauf-Ebert-Foundation allblick.

The longer the list grows, the more obvious it is: While the high achievers in our society ensure prosperity, in stark contrast to the lazy people at the supermarket checkout or in overalls, the third-class recipient of the Order of Prince Jaroslaw the Wise and chief villain Bärbel Bas wastes her time soldering the privileges of workers and employees, pensioners and social welfare recipients. Not a single drop of their sweet, 200 billion euro budget goes to the top and bottom of our society! Bärbel Bas does a lot, but nothing wrong.
