I observed four different activities of the 4th World March for Peace and Non-violence from the beginning. This World March was so interesting, with 2 differences this time for me:
- Kabir and I were the supporters and observers, not the Coordinators for the World March.
- Secondly, it was not a physical involvement, the virtual commitment to the World March and the message of Nonviolence was there, with the new coordination team of the Mukunda Baskota and Alysha Mahat.
The World March Activities in Nepal:
Day One (22 of September, 2026)
The 1st day activity was at the Budhanilkantha, Kathmandu Local government, with different school representatives holding a talk program about Peace and Nonviolence.

Day Two (28th of September)
The second day’s activity was done at the Patan Durbar Square of Patan. Students from the Patan Multiple College, humanists from different districts, including me, join the program of candle lighting with deepest condolences and heartfelt wishes for the peaceful rest of the departed souls affected by the flood and landslide in Votekoshi. (Nepal-China border). Here was the disaster, 1 kilometer from China to 180 Km of Nepal’s side.

Day Three (2nd of October, 2026)
The 3rd day’s activities were held at three different parts of the Kavre District.

Day Four (4th of October, 2026)
The 4th day’s activity was done at the Bouddhanath Stupa Kathmandu. Humanists from different districts, including myself and local people, joined the program of candle lighting with deepest condolences for the peaceful rest of the departed souls affected by the flood and landslide in Votekoshi. (Nepal-China border).

My Understanding
I joined the Humanist Movement in July, 2006, for the first time with Decler Mendez Hague and that was Council 209 back then. With the introduction of the 12 Principles of Valid Action, I began to learn internal development my own way, with the books (Silos Message, Guided Experience, Self- Liberation and Psychology) which supported my understanding more clearly. I learned, with time and being chapter-wise in 20 years.
About The World March for Peace and Non-violence, we (The Base Team) physically walked, first to 97 countries with the message of Peace and Nonviolence, then half of those countries, and again to less number of countries in support of the March. It means the same things don’t work again and again with the same energy and excitement, even though the people know the value of this word. It affects every single human being to grow well and to live life in a better way. The family, society, country and the world are nowadays suffering from different kinds of violence. To overcome it in daily life, Silo’s collective work and experience are sufficient.
How could it be more effective??
- Pressenza here, working for daily base news covering the main topic of Nonviolence is the best way of developing ideas of peace and non-violence in the online world.
- Word Without Wars and Violence has to continue World March like this with different ideas like these 4WM also play the vital role for continuty.
- WHF. This forum is inviting a fresher flow of the message of nonviolence, to collect the ideas from new generation how the world should be transform in positive social environment.
This much I know till now.
My Proposal
What I have learned over 20 years. Now it’s time to hand over to the new generations. It’s time to “spray” the concept of new humanism to students, 13-19 years old, the teen-age group. Because this generation is learning quickly through technology, they can learn it. If we don’t knock their mind with curiosity, they will not learn deeply. Deeply means it’s all about seeing the society surrounding them and the people with violent activity, observe them, learn from them and help them understand their own value. To transform with their internal unity. To build a peaceful society.
About The Human Connection (with the new generation)

– The experienced one and the fresher one will exchange their ideas of how to create a better society with the beautiful connection of two different generations.
Expected Outcomes
– Increased awareness of humanitarian values.
– Stronger community engagement.
– Enhanced communication and leadership skills among participants.
– Motivation for volunteerism and social action.
– Creation of a platform for ongoing dialogue on social issues.
Once a year, we humanists should arrange a national meeting with the students who participated from the school. We have 2 students from one school and 25 total episodes from 12 schools once a year. International and national volunteers with students can exchange, as we do in the Park of Study and Reflection.
Conclusion:
I participated in 4 different World Marches with the concept of peace and nonviolence Now, I am thinking to work on it to root in the mind, which is the teenage group. To work with this concept, I am looking for the support of the International Education Group of Humanism. At least for one year, it is very difficult to explain the school. But the time and value of social media can establish us. So I would like to invite all those who are interested to support.
