The publisher sued us two years ago.

Specifically, it was about the statement that the publisher “regularly publishes anti-Semitic books”.

The regional court ruled in our favor.

Ahriman-Verlag did not accept the verdict and filed an appeal, which was upheld by the Karlsruhe Higher Regional Court.

He contacted the well-known law firm Höcker for the first warning.

The lawyer has already represented numerous fascists in court, including the fascist Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the Islamic Community Millî Görüş and the neo-Nazi party German People's Union.

He has also represented Holocaust denier David Irving and Compact founder Jürgen Elsässer.

However, the judgment only dealt with the question of whether the statement was an expression of opinion and not with the question of whether the publisher published anti-Semitic books: “Even an exaggerated expression of opinion is subject to the self-determination of the person making the statement, which is protected by Article 5 Paragraph 1 of the Basic Law.

Anyone who has given rise to a derogatory judgment in the public battle of opinion must accept a sharp reaction even if it reduces the company's personal reputation," said the judge in her judgment.

In addition, neither the publisher nor its authors themselves are described as anti-Semitic, only the content of several publications.

The Ahriman publishing house is already intimidated before the trial.

In a press release he criticizes a recent publication by the Office for the Protection of the Constitution on anti-Semitic ciphers.

There are also hints that are used repeatedly by Ahriman Publishing, such as the systematically repeated motif of the “Soros/Rockefeller gang”.

Appeal before the OLG The right-wing Ahriman publishing house appealed against this.

This was then upheld by the next instance, the Karlsruhe Higher Regional Court.

How the court will rule is unclear.

However, it expects increased interest from the public to participate and has therefore ordered stricter security measures.

Carrying cell phones or other technical devices is prohibited.
