Yemeni government forces claim strikes on Houthi positions in Yemen’s al-Wazi’yah

Yemen’s armed forces spokesman Majid al-Nuzaili said in a statement on Tuesday that Yemeni government forces carried out eight strikes on Houthi positions in the al-Wazi’yah district of the Taiz governorate, targeting Houthi vehicles, equipment and personnel.

This comes after Yemen's army warned civilians to stay away from sites used by the Houthis for military activities, saying they consider them to be legitimate targets.
