Café No Pasaran: Analogue meeting point against digital attacks

And for good reasons: Noblogs offered a simple and, above all, anonymous way to put our content online and advertise our activities. In times of the shift to the right, in which the spaces for emancipatory politics are becoming narrower and anti-fascists are increasingly exposed to threats from the state and, above all, from fascists, anonymity on the Internet is a prerequisite for being able to be an anti-fascist presence on the street.

With A/I (or noblogs.org), one of the few options for this disappears from the Internet once and for all. Alternatives are currently being sought to compensate for the loss. But emancipatory, anti-fascist politics should not rely solely on the Internet.

Antifascism is and remains essentially an attitude that is primarily evident in everyday life and also becomes practical there. The attack on A/I also showed that, in addition to decentralized structures on the Internet, there is also a need for concrete places in the real world where people can get to know each other and exchange ideas.

TheCafé No Pasaranthe initiativeKreuzberg stands in solidarity against the rightis such a place and was born precisely from this idea. It opens the doors in the RegenbogenCafé every third Sunday of the month and invites everyone who wants to stand in the way of right-wing tendencies to come along.

The next opportunity is on the day of the elections for the Berlin House of Representatives. Over coffee and cake you can discuss the expected results and their consequences. From 6 p.m. the first projections will be viewed and discussed.
