Quite a few Hertha and Union fans had mingled with the Tasmanian crowd to hear the Jena men's choir shout: "And when the press starts agitating again, the bull wets our faces, then we'll be there and stand up for our FC Carl Zeiss Jena." Unadulterated fan logic for advanced users.

The beef sausage was great and the beer flowed peacefully down thirsty throats. Because Tasmania also opened the barn door wide, my long-suffering fan eyes saw an unexpected 5:1 for Jena under a pink winning sky. Don't get your hopes up, the practically invincible second team of 1. FC Magdeburg will be lurking on the next match day.

Unfortunately, I couldn't serve the notorious Neukölln clan villains on a gold coin tray to my Thuringians who had traveled there. On Sunday, the brave Greece proved that the football devil still has great blows in store for the battered couch football nation. My word for Sunday: Federal Jürgen has lost any remaining football knowledge during his time as a Red Bull servant. If I were a fan of the black-and-gold national team made by Nutella, I would be very afraid of Liechtenstein, Andorra and Luxembourg.

Finally, something nice: The football magazine “Zeitspiel” has been around for about ten years – luckily! In issue 44, which has just been published and is definitely worth reading, the football poets dedicate themselves to East Germany. Because 37 years after political reunification, the football east is still an underrepresented zone. Why this is the case, who is responsible for it and how it could be changed can be found on almost 100 pages in the new issue. Get this seed of goodness, the magazine "Zeitspiel" is always on the move away from the gloss of the Bundesliga and the colorful stories (presented by Kukident, Adidas and Red Bull): A must-read for fans of raw sport!
