US mission issues warning for US citizens in Saudi Arabia

The US mission in Saudi Arabia issued a security alert for American citizens in the kingdom amid the ongoing escalations with the Houthis in Yemen.

"Due to the ongoing security situation in Saudi Arabia and the potential for aerial drone or missile attacks on Saudi Arabia, the US Mission strongly encourages all US citizens to remain vigilant and follow the guidance of national alerts released by Saudi Arabia’s Civil Defense," the alert said.
