Turkey echoes denial of Syria-Hezbollah meeting on its turf

Turkey has denied a Reuters report alleging that a secretive meeting between representatives of Syria and Hezbollah took place on Turkish soil last month.

Turkey's Directorate of Communications said that the report, which cited six sources briefed on the matter, is "entirely unfounded".

Syria has also denied that the meeting took place, as covered on Middle East Eye's live blog earlier on Thursday.
