Large plume of black smoke seen near Riyadh airport, Reuters reports
Flames and a large plume of black smoke could be seen rising near King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh on Saturday, Reuters reported, quoting eyewitnesses.
It was not immediately known what caused the fire and the government media office in Saudi Arabia did not respond to a request for comments, according to Reuters.
The development comes amid rising tensions between Saudi Arabia and Yemen’s Houthi movement, but it was not clear what caused the flames.
