Gaza facing shortages of vital medical equipment for diagnosis and treatment
Wafa reports, citing medical sources, that Gaza is facing worsening shortages of medical equipment needed for diagnoses and monitoring of thousands of patients.
According to the sources, 52 percent of medical laboratory equipment-including chemical analysis equipment- has been destroyed, making it impossible to maintain services essential to daily medical care.
They urged for the transfer of modern laboratory equipment into Gaza, warning that the continued deterioriation of laboratory servcies is undermining medical staff's ability to diagnose and treat patients.
