Neither guilty nor innocent - against the logic of the state and its prisons  We learned with sadness and anger that Andreas Krebs, who has been held captive in various prisons for over 20 years, had another stroke. In a cold prison cell in the Tegel prison, isolated from the people who support and love him, separated from possible places of warmth and relaxation.  Anyone who has ever dealt with the conditions of prisoners knows - the Tegel prison is a particularly murderous machine in which people are systematically buried and cut off from all life. Placed on the outskirts of the city and hidden behind trees and walls, this cruel place and its prisoners should be forgotten in the hustle and bustle of Berlin. And for everyone who looks, the German state is trying to cover up its cruelty by using its judges and media to present us with the logic of guilt. It is clear to us - Andreas, like all other prisoners, is neither guilty nor innocent. We don't care what any court or any cops accuse him of. Like all of us, he is entitled to a life in freedom. We don't care what laws they come up with to legitimize all the violence, exploitation and harassment that the prisoners in Tegel are exposed to every day. In Andrea's words: "Only idiots believe in the justice of the prevailing judiciary. The judiciary is based on laws created by people to oppress people and is therefore necessarily repressive. Prison is the main disciplinary tool of any system based on slavery and exploitation to maintain an arbitrary order.Those who exercise power do not abide by any laws themselves." Our hatred is for the state and its henchmen. Our love and passion for freedom, life and all those who refuse to be broken by the cold and violence of prison. Andreas, that after so many years in prison you continue to find the strength to go on hunger strike, to speak to us outside and inside the prison walls, to defend your life and therefore humanity and to fight for freedom, gives us the hope that we can win.
