Lecture: Ultranationalist and right-wing extremist structures in the diaspora with a connection to Turkey in Austria

Based on the history of migration from Turkey, the lecture provides an overview of the development, structures and activities of ultranationalist and right-wing extremist actors in Austria. Taking current political developments in Turkey into account, their transnational connections as well as similarities and differences between Austria and Turkey are examined. Finally, various positions and approaches for the scientific, political and social classification and discussion of this hitherto little-noticed phenomenon are presented.
