Changing course for better prospects - How does left-wing financial policy combat the crisis?

While the federal government is increasing the defense budget by billions in no time, employees with small and medium incomes are currently coming under increasing pressure. Rising prices at the supermarket checkout, high electricity bills and increasingly inadequate public infrastructure make it clear: things cannot continue like this. 

Against this background, the event aims to address fundamental questions of distributive justice: Why can't the GroKo achieve an income tax reform that noticeably relieves the burden on the majority? Why can a housing stock of over 300 apartments be inherited tax-free on a regular basis? What has to happen in terms of tax policy when politics reaches the limits of capitalism and budgetary flexibility? The left-wing faction's wealth tax study should be discussed as well as the left-wing tax concept to relieve the burden on small and medium incomes.
