(le) Attack on MAN

As part of the supra-regional, multifaceted effort against rearmament and militarization, we paid a visit to the MAN workshop. Our goal is to prevent the war that was planned at great expense and, in the process, to nip in the bud the plans to establish Leipzig as a new armaments location. As a result of this meticulously prepared campaign, around 30 trucks and small cars were expected to be completely damaged. There will be total damage amounting to several million euros. This action comes in the context of the burgeoning movements against conscription and cuts. It complements the correct criticism and pressure from the street with a practical component that cannot be ignored, pacified or reformed!

The truck and commercial vehicle manufacturer MAN, based in Munich, not only sells its trucks to armies around the world, but also has its own military division and, together with Rheinmetall, produces vehicles specifically for military needs in the cooperation company Rheinmetall MAN Military Vehicles (RMMV).

Even for an international company worth billions, a loss of several million euros means a loss that can be relevant to decision-making. MAN has locations in almost all major cities and is therefore vulnerable. It is easy to cause great harm once more people recognize the need to act and actively intervene against militarization.

To all rearmament companies: read this as an implicit threat in this action. Calculate regularly whether the investment in the slaughter of human lives is worth it. Don't be surprised if your vulnerable parking spaces go up in flames again.

But we do not want to narrow our horizons to dying in the upcoming war, but rather see the effects of militarization in many areas of life today. In addition to the plans to convert the health system to war triage and set up the AI ​​surveillance state, every social security we fought for is to be cut. Our belts need to be tightened while profits and dividends paid need to be kept at record levels. In the complicated world of corporate interconnections, where there are tons of choices in the supermarket and, in theory, a market full of competing companies, in reality it is a few large parent companies that own many others and are in turn influenced by investment firms. This is how it happens that not only MAN actually belongs to VW, but VW is also significantly influenced by Blackrock's strategies. VW's planned factory closure in Zwickau, the Chancellor's inhumane policies as a former Blackrock lobbyist and MAN's militarization machinations can be linked.
