No peace without Israel

The reaction of the community center as a landlord? Instead of seriously addressing the criticism expressed, the concerns were largely dismissed and responsibility for the content of the event was denied.
That's why anti-fascist intervention took place. Numerous information texts were posted around the community center under the heading “No peace without Israel”. They draw attention to what is at the center of the so-called tribunal - and what is conspicuously missing: While Israel and its supporters sit in the dock, the mullahs' regime, Hezbollah, Hamas, the anti-Semitic mass murder of October 7, 2023, the abducted hostages and the question of Jewish security do not play a comparable role in the announced program.
A look at the announced speakers also gives cause for criticism. Tarek Baé publishes texts under the headline “Yes, Israel has no ‘right to exist’” and defends “From the River to the Sea”. Sebastian Scheerer describes Israel as an apartheid state and locates the causes of the conflict in Zionism and Jewish immigration before 1948. Ammar Bustami defends BDS as a peaceful political means, Fabian Goldmann speaks of Israeli “genocide” and accuses the German media of having justified and concealed it.
Criticism of the Israeli government's actions is legitimate. It must be possible to address the suffering of the Palestinian civilian population as well as possible violations of international law. But a “tribunal” in which Israel sits in the dock while Hamas and the anti-Semitic terror of October 7 largely disappear from the picture is not a peace dialogue. Anti-Zionism and Israel-related anti-Semitism do not become harmless by disappearing under the term “criticism of Israel”.
Even before the event, the community center was confronted with corresponding concerns from its immediate neighborhood. Anyone who provides rooms for such an event must ask themselves how these concerns will be dealt with. Criticism does not disappear just because the landlord does not accept responsibility for the content of an event.
Against all anti-Semitism and Islamism. No peace with Hamas. No peace without Jewish security. No peace through the delegitimization of Israel.
