Tender and radical – against exploitation and capital!

As part of the general day of action in Frankfurt against social cuts on September 26th, 2026, we call for an anti-authoritarian and anti-capitalist bloc that is directed against de-solidarization as a strategy of power.

While the rich are getting richer every day, the CDU and SPD under the Merz government are not afraid to shamelessly promote homelessness, hunger and the exclusion of poor or sick people.

The abolition of citizens' money means nothing else. It is now even possible to sanction state transfer funds of up to 0 euros, including rental payments, in the event of alleged misconduct.

The planned additional harassment of wage earners, for example through the extension of working life, the abolition of the 8-hour working day, the right to part-time work or the relaxation of protection against dismissal speaks the shameless language of a class struggle from above. Stock-based pension plans also fit into the pattern of giving gifts to the rich and fleecing the rest.

The exploitation of people with disabilities in so-called “workshops”, contrary to the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities signed by the government, also falls into this category.

Solidarity – none!

The demarcation of the government parties from the extreme right must therefore be described as a farce. After all, it is no secret that fascists have historically often gained strength against the background of social inequality, increased fears of decline and constant experiences of crisis. Austerity measures are grist for the AfD's mill - anyone who promotes social division plays into the hands of the right-wing extremists.

Instead of using the obvious abundance to ensure a good life for everyone, the government is trying to force us to make tough, supposedly no-alternative cuts. While the majority of the population is more closely controlled and has to be content with less, a few super-rich people are allowed to continue to increase their capital unmolested and rejoice over the even cheaper commodity of labor.

The signs point to impoverishment politics and loss of solidarity. Whether women*, single parents, sick people, people with disabilities, refugees, the elderly or children - they are all or are particularly affected by the current savings plans.

Due to the increasing pressure on direct and indirect wage earners, they experience isolation and powerlessness instead of self-empowerment.  Capitalism sets productivity as the benchmark for participation in all areas of society. In this way, the daily struggle for existence becomes individualized and the austerity dictate becomes an instrument of power that nips hope and time for collective resistance in the bud.

We also want this mechanism on September 26th. oppose something.

It is high time to attack the politics of social division and fight for a redistribution of wealth in this society. This also includes a commitment to the care economy: those who are cared for have a right to self-determination and those who care must not suffer any disadvantages as a result. We want a society in which we can care for each other tenderly instead of competing with each other in social coldness.

While the DGB sees the right signals for employment, growth and relief, we don't care about a system that can only exist if it produces misery for the profit of a few.

We demand:

• Stop social cuts! Abolition of all sanctions! 
• Stop harassing wage earners!  
• Socialization of the care infrastructure
• Instead of saving money for the poor, cut money for the rich!
• Instead of the fetish of wage labor, time for leisure and tenderness.

For a world without exploitation and capital
