Crimeth Inc. Lecture tour

Since the mid-1990s, CrimethInc. one of the most productive and ambitious anarchist projects in North America. Contributors have traveled across the continent for countless tours and campaigns. They produced books, newspapers and other literature (including 650,000 copies of the basic work Fighting for Our Lives) and reported from the fronts of summit protests, riots, anti-repression campaigns and other adventurous experiments.

Constantly controversial, CrimethInc. earned the wrath of the traditional left and the authorities while always challenging the general public.

In this lecture, long-time contributors will reflect on these experiences, material from the different phases of CrimethInc. Present activities and discuss how the context in the USA has shifted. An attempt is made to explain why US anarchists have developed from subcultural rebellion to a general uprising - in order to ultimately put forward hypotheses about what the future can bring.

(The lecture will be held in English, a person from the bm crew (publishers of the book Message in a Bottle. CrimethInc. Communqiués 1996-2011) will be there and, if necessary, will sit on the sidelines with people who understand little English and “whisper” to provide comprehension help)
