Wochentaz podcast: It's not all Magdeburg

In Berlin, Elif Eralp is celebrated as a shining light and compared to Zohran Mamdani, the socialist mayor of New York. Kersten Augustin heads the domestic department of the taz and accompanied the top candidate of the Left Party in the election campaign. With the question of whether Eralp might be the downfall of his own party in the election for the Berlin House of Representatives.

The state parliament will also be elected in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania on September 20th and there it is about nothing less than preserving democracy.
