Protesters depict ‘heaven’ and ‘hell’ futures as they call on PM to reject new oil and gas fields

CAMPAIGNERS from Stop Rosebank, Fossil Free London, Christian Climate Action and Greenpeace demonstrated outside the Department for Energy and Net Zero today to protest against the Rosebank oil field.

Protesters depicted “heaven” and “hell” futures, demanding Prime Minister Andy Burnham reject new oil and gas fields.

Some wore light clothing holding “clouds” to represent a safe, liveable future, while others in dark clothing held “flames” to symbolise a burning dystopia.
