Defend Our Juries accepts invitation to meet Ed Miliband over Palestine Action ban

DEFEND OUR JURIES has accepted Ed Miliband’s offer to meet with them as he was asked to lift the Palestine Action ban at a Pizza Express during the Labour Party conference.

Margaret Owen, 94, a human rights barrister and friend of the Foreign Secretary’s late mother, was among the dozens being arrested for holding signs in support of Palestine Action at the time.

She and Jonathon Porritt, 76, accepted the offer in writing on behalf of Defend Our Juries, which is backing legal action to lift the ban.
