Yemen's president calls on Yemenis to mobilise

Rashid al-Alimi, the Riyadh-based president of Yemen's Saudi-backed, internationally recognised government, called on Yemenis on Friday to mobilise and join the armed forces.

He also offered a future general amnesty to Houthi fighters and affiliates who leave the group starting 26 September.
