Yemen coalition forces claim Houthi missile targeting Khamis Mushait destroyed

The Saudi Arabia-led coalition forces in Yemen said its air defence systems intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile launched by the Iran-backed Houthis towards the kingdom.

In a post on X, Colonel Turki Al-Maliki, the official spokesman for coalition forces, said the missile was headed towards Khamis Mushait.

Earlier, Colonel Al-Maliki said two drones headed towards Riyadh were intercepted and destroyed by air defence systems.
