Trump tells Tehran to 'behave' and lays out three options on ending war with Iran

US President Donald Trump called on Tehran "to behave" in an interview with Fox News on the state of the war with Iran.  

When addressing the available options on ending the war, Trump candidly said the United States had three options: "obliterate Iran, letting it rot economically, or reach a deal."

Trump also said he was open to the idea of meeting Iranian President Pezeshkian on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly this week. 

He did however, claim it was impossible for the United States to reach a deal,  as some Iranian officials are "hiding like rats". 

The US President also confirmed that the United States remained in constant contact with the Houthis who, according to him, agreed not to fight the US military.
