Three Palestinians injured in Israeli drone attacks on Gaza

Two Palestinians were injured, one critically, on Sunday morning after an Israeli drone targeted a group of Palestinians in Al-Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City, Wafa reported.

Another Palestinian was injured when an Israeli drone struck near tents sheltering displaced Palestinians in the vicinity of Sheikh Radwan Market, north of Gaza City.

The report said that Israeli forces also shelled areas south of Khan Younis and opened fire from military vehicles east of the city. At the same time, artillery shelling and heavy gunfire targeted the Mawasi Rafah area in the southern Gaza Strip.

Israeli military helicopters also opened heavy fire east of Gaza City, while tanks and naval vessels fired toward the northwestern areas of the city, according to Wafa.

In the West Bank city, meanwhile, Wafa reported that Israeli forces tightened restrictions by closing the gate at the entrance to the town of Turmus Ayya, north of Ramallah, and “harassed citizens”.

They also closed the entrances to villages such as Aboud, Nabi Saleh, Atara, and Al-Taybeth and set up a military checkpoint at the entrance to Yabroud and Ein Sinya, the report said.
