Settlers smash cars, damage ambulance in West Bank village

Israeli settlers smashed cars and hurled rocks at Palestinian residents of al-Mughayyir village in the occupied West Bank while Israeli forces looked on, according to a video shared by Palestinian rights activist Ihab Hassan on X.

Israeli settlers, under the protection of Israeli forces, also attacked an ambulance and stole agricultural equipment during a raid on al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, on Saturday evening, the Palestinian news agency Wafa reported.

Al-Mughayyir Village Council head Amin Abu Alia told Wafa that the settlers also raided a sheep farm west of the village and stole agricultural equipment.

During the attack, Israeli forces raided a house in the western part of the village, searched it and tampered with its contents. The forces also fired tear gas grenades in the area, with no injuries reported.

Abu Alia said Israeli forces also briefly detained several citizens, including women and children, at the village's western entrance and subjected them to mistreatment, before releasing them.
