Qatar denies reports US and Iran failed to reach deal, says talks continue
Qatar has denied reports that its prime minister said the United States and Iran had failed to reach an agreement to end the war, calling the claims “false and misleading”.
In a statement on Friday, Qatar’s International Media Office said the remarks of the Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani had been “deliberately distorted by those who benefit from continued war and instability in our region”.
The prime minister said that both sides were still working towards a deal, the statement added.
