Pezeshkian accuses US, Israel of attempts at sowing 'internal divisions' in Iran 

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian accused the US and Israel of attempting to create and exacerbate "internal divisions" in the country, state media reported. 

"After failing to force the Iranian people to surrender through military war, enemies have focused their entire plan on creating and intensifying internal divisions," Pezeshkian said in a meeting with Iranian mayors from across the country.

The Iranian president further stressed the need to preserve national unity and cohesion, saying: "A group must not weaken the country under the illusion that they are ‘all-knowing’; public participation by all citizens is the most important way to overcome conspiracies."
