Palestinian girl wounded in Israeli fire at Jerusalem checkpoint

Israeli forces shot at and injured a Palestinian girl on early Sunday at the Qalandia military checkpoint, north of occupied Jerusalem, Wafa reported.

Meanwhile, Israeli authorities imposed a comprehensive closure on the occupied West Bank and closed border crossings, citing the Jewish holidays.

The closure is set to remain in place for one week, Wafa reported.

The measures include tightened military restrictions at checkpoints and barriers, hindering Palestinians' movement and access to holy sites.
