Netanyahu condemns 'violent riots' by settlers in occupied West Bank

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned "violent riots" by settlers in the occupied West Bank.

In a statement on X, Netanyahu said the "handful of rioters" did not represent what he termed the “law-abiding settler community".

Overnight dozens of Israeli settlers rampaged through Palestinian villages in the occupied West Bank, setting homes and cars alight.

Around 100 settlers raided Jalud, south of Nablus, shortly after midnight on Monday, targeting the homes of the Toubasi family.
