Israeli strikes kill nine people in Gaza

Israeli strikes in the Gaza Strip killed at least nine people, including a child on Sunday, according to Al Jazeera.

Five people were killed in Khan Younis and three in Gaza City, according to a statement from the civil defence service.

Local hospitals said they had received the bodies as well as several people wounded. 

"Occupation aircraft targeted several on-duty police officers" in Khan Younis, the Palestinian interior ministry in Gaza said.
