Israeli settlers attack Palestinian homes, assault residents in Halhul, north of Hebron

Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian homes and assaulted several residents under the protection of Israeli forces on Monday night, local time, in the town of Halhul, north of Hebron, Wafa reported.

The report said that a group of armed settlers, protected by Israeli forces, attacked homes and assaulted several residents in the Wadi Qaboun area of the town.

Israeli forces also set up a military checkpoint at the town’s entrance, searched passing vehicles, and checked passengers’ identification cards.
