Israeli attacks kill Palestinian and wound others north of Khan Younis
Israeli attacks on Wednesday evening killed a Palestinian and wounded several others in the north of Khan Younis, Wafa news agency reports.
According to the report, the attack targeted people on the Salah Ad-Din Street, killing a 33-year-old and wounding others, including a minor.
This comes amid a wave of Israeli attacks on Wednesday, which killed at least eight people. MEE reported earlier that an Israeli strike hit a civilian transport vehicle in the Tal al-Hawa neighbourhood of western Gaza City, killing five people and wounding 15 others, including women and children.
Meanwhile, Gaza's government media office reported that Palestinian journalist Muhammad Abdel Aziz al-Najjar was killed in a separate attack on Wednesday. The office did not provide any further details relating to the attack, but stated that he was the 263rd journalist killed by Israel since October 2023.
Israeli forces have killed at least 1,430 people since the ceasefire was signed, an average of around four people a day.
They include at least 300 children.
The agreement was intended to end Israel’s genocide and lift restrictions on the entry of aid and commercial goods.
Israel has repeatedly violated the agreement, carrying out near-daily bombing raids while maintaining tight restrictions on the entry of aid and goods.
Overall, Israeli forces have killed more than 74,000 Palestinians since the genocide began in October 2023 and wounded more than 175,000 others.
