IRGC issues open letter urging US voters to 'wrest control back from corrupt politicians'

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) released on Tuesday an open letter addressed to US voters, calling on them to "wake up" and "wrest control back from corrupt politicians".

In a lengthy open letter, the IRGC made a direct appeal to American voters, telling them "you are the ones who empower, with your votes, the government and allow it to do what it does."

"The United States of America is a great nation. To allow vulgar and immoral individuals to continue steering your politics and policies will only further humiliate and undermine the US," the letter continued, urging the American public to "take back control".

This comes ahead of the US midterm elections at a time when Trump's popularity is at an all-time low.
