Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it intercepted and destroyed an advanced MQ-1 drone over the Strait of Hormuz
The Tasnim news agency cited the IRGC as saying that the aircraft was targeted on Monday by the country's advanced air defence system.
