Iran’s Araghchi tells Lebanon’s speaker parliament need for regional coordination against Israel

The Iranian foreign minister held a phone call with Lebanese parliament speaker to discuss regional developments and the need for greater coordination against "Israeli aggression and warmongering", according to Iran’s Press TV

During the call with Nabih Berri, Abbas Araghchi reaffirmed Tehran’s "commitment to Lebanon’s sovereignty and territorial integrity". He also stressed the country's "full support for Lebanon’s resistance".

Berri resaponded by thanking Iran for its support and briefed the Iranian diplomat on the situation in southern Lebanon.

The Lebanese parliament speaker emphasised to Araghchi the "legal and moral responsibility of the international community and Islamic countries" to halt "Israeli violations and hold perpetrators accountable".
