Iran warns of 'earth-shattering blow' as Araghchi slams Germany's war stance

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragchi has criticised Germany for supporting Israel-US war on Iran last year and now complaining the conflict has added has added more than 100 billion euros ($112bn) to Europe’s energy costs.

In a post on X, Araghchi said that when Israel-US bombings of Iran began last year, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz  hailed them as "doing Europe's dirty work".

"100bn Euro is nothing compared to the Earth-shattering blow Iran's Powerful Armed Forces will deal against those who dare harm our people," Araghchi said.

"Red lines are a thing of the past," he added.
