Iran has seized two light vessels and arrested 50 people in the coastal waters off Qeshm Island in the Strait of Hormuz and in Minab “for violating Iranian regulations”, state-run broadcaster IRIB reirted..

The nationalities of those arrested or the timing of the operation remain unclear.
