Explosions reported on Iran's Qeshm Island and in port of Jask

Explosions were heard on Saturday on Iran's Qeshm Island in the Strait of Hormuz and in the southern port of Jask, Iranian media reported, though there was no official confirmation of what caused them.

The Iranian Tasnim news agency said earlier on Saturday that two missiles had struck Qeshm Island, but did not say who fired them.

The reported explosions come days after US strikes on the island, which a US official described as limited and not a resumption of major combat operations.
