US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said on Wednesday that "you are either with us or against us" after his department issued fresh sanctions targeting what it described as a “vast criminal network” aiding Iran’s shadow fleet of oil tankers.

"As we have said many times, under Operation Economic Outcast, you are either with us or against us," Bessent wrote in a post on X.

"We know where you are, and we will sanction those who continue supporting the Iranian regime, whether by land, sea, or air," he added.
