Ben Gvir posts video threatening to kill detained senior Hamas figure

Israeli far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir posted a video of himself threatening to kill Palestinian prisoner Hassan Salameh.

In the footage, it shows Ben Gvir surrounded by security as he tells the senior Hamas leader that he wants to "execute" him. 

The far-right minister captioned the video writing that he if he takes up the position of defence minister, he will ensure detainees like Salameh are "put to death".

He added that he would also advance immigration policies, which are aimed at driving Palestinians out from Gaza and the occupied West Bank.
