Rainbow against Reich citizens

On the night of September 26th, 2026, Karolinenplatz became the target of an action against the Reich Citizens' event taking place there that day.

They had mobilized nationwide for their meeting and this is intended to be an important networking and recruiting event for the nationwide Reich citizen scene.
The members of the Reichsbürger Stoppen group colored parts of Karolinenplatz in the form of a rainbow with paint.

"Darmstadt should be a colorful, diverse and democratic city. The meeting of Reich citizens contradicts these values. While thousands of people take to the streets against social cuts and feminism in Frankfurt and Darmstadt on this day, the Reich citizens long for an emperor." Says press spokesman Gudrun D.

Their colleague Baran K. adds: "Due to the historical revisionism of the citizens of the Reich, misanthropic ideas are preserved, such as those on masculinity, a "strong state", "being German" and Holocaust relativization. This idea continues to be found in a weaker version in broader parts of society. We stand against it and show with colorful colors that diversity and equality are indispensable."
