House search due to railway adbusting
In March 2026, activists from the resistance collective advertised a “zero euro ticket” on satirical train posters across Germany. The resistance collective explained at the time: "We can't wait for our politics. If the government doesn't help us, we'll just make the €0 ticket ourselves! We'll fight on the streets for free local transport for everyone." This demand was probably too humane for the police. Where would we be if profits no longer came first? So the cops responded with a house search and searched a family apartment for the printing machine responsible for the terrorist posters. The Oldenburg police have been known nationwide since April 2025. At that time, their officers killed Lorenz, who was only 21 years old, with several shots in the back and then lied that he had attacked them. "We wish Lorenz's relatives and acquaintances a lot of strength in the upcoming court case against the police and demand a complete investigation into the racially motivated murder." explains Kai N. Krieger.

Adbusting is not a crime
Kai N. Krieger, spokesman for the anti-militarist action network, is convinced: "The cops and the Oldenburg district court are pursuing a political opinion here. That is forbidden!" Because the resistance collective's posters were self-printed. In several cases, German public prosecutors have already decided that adbusting with people they brought with them is not a criminal offense. Because nothing is stolen or anything is broken. In 2023, the Federal Constitutional Court even declared a house search due to Bundeswehr adbusting to be a disproportionate encroachment on fundamental rights. "But the cops and the Oldenburg district court apparently don't care much about that," Kai N. Krieger shakes his head: "Legal? Illegal? They just don't give a shit. The main thing is that free train travel is reserved for their uniformed colleagues from the Bundeswehr."

Copyright?
While the house search, which was declared illegal by the Federal Constitutional Court, was based on suspicion of "particularly serious theft", the reason for the house search in Oldenburg is particularly banal.As the taz reports, the reason for the search was the violation of Deutsche Bahn's copyright. “What nonsense!” says Kai N. Krieger indignantly. The appropriation of design elements for the purpose of satirical alienation is of course covered by freedom of expression and freedom of art. "A district judge should actually know that. Or did her dog eat paragraph § 51a from her copy of the Copyright Act?"

What the justification of the house search with the copyright law also means: Since a copyright violation is a criminal offense, the police and public prosecutor's office only take action if Deutsche Bahn has filed a complaint. "What a brake on fun," says Kai N. Krieger: "The resistance collective's posters portray rail travel as a good thing that should be accessible to more people. The railway could have used it to make politics to demand more financial support from the state. Instead, they are inciting the police to attack their own supporters."

Will there ever be a conviction in the case? "Probably not," says Kai N. Krieger: "The legal accusation is so ridiculous and the whole thing threatens to become extremely embarrassing for the district court." But a conviction is not necessarily the calculation of the uncertainty organs. The resistance collective explained to the taz: "Especially in left-wing and climate activism, this means [of house searches] is often used for trivial reasons and only serves to intimidate." It's good that those affected don't allow themselves to be intimidated! In any case, one person affected by the house search is behind the campaign in terms of content: "How can it be that we use motorways free of charge, but that should be impossible with buses and trains?" she asks.

The Antimilitarist Action Network (a2n) wishes those affected and the resistance collective all the best. Kai N. Krieger is happy: "It's good that you exist! Keep it up! The fact that the organs of repression are going off like this shows how important your work is."
