[K] Shaping Germany together Locally attacked

Since the beginning of the year, the right-wingers have been meeting there every month and using the space to discuss their racist, anti-queer and anti-communist positions. The right-wing activists come there, not by chance or because they haven't found another place, but because the innkeeper shows solidarity with them and their far-right viewpoints. This only became apparent on Friday, when a counter-protest was spontaneously organized across from the restaurant. While Benedikt Dölle - the chairman of the GDG - attracted attention with provocations towards Antifa and sexist behavior, the landlord of the house stood in the background and diligently shook the hands of the right-wing visitors and laughed at the right-wing slogans that were being shouted. He therefore saw no need to expel the regulars' table from the premises - but will probably also warmly welcome them in the future. In addition, Bayerischer Rundfunk was also present and offered the GDG the perfect platform to portray themselves as victims affected by violence in interviews. They accompanied the get-together in detail and were open to the content of the GDG. At the same time, three fully masked neo-Nazis, known from local events in Essen-Kray, scurried past the counter-protest. They should and wanted to be seen in order to be recognized as political opponents willing to fight. Two productions that quite contradict each other.

However, they did the math without the organized Cologne Antifas. Because anyone who allies themselves with the right and offers them space for their content becomes part of the shift to the right in the Federal Republic of Germany. So we saw the need to mark this place for what it is: a space that is used for right-wing agitation and is not welcome in our city. 

The entire outdoor restaurant and facade were marked with plenty of red paint. To ensure that the exterior was not simply beautified, the windows of the restaurant were also redesigned in an anti-fascist manner. Maybe the innkeeper can use the right-wing money for the new discs ;-) In addition, a lettering made it clear to all passers-by: "Nazis drink beer here!"

The regulars' tables are aimed primarily at recruiting young people who are becoming radicalized through social media. All under the guise of being just conservative and patriotic. However, this can be revealed quite easily if you look at the personnel of the GDG Cologne: The chairman of the GDG - Benedikt Dölle - finds his political home in the Junge Union Köln Lindenthal. This is not an isolated case; several members of the GDG Cologne are part of the JU Lindenthal. Rather surprising if you believe in the fairy tale of the “fire wall”. This illusion quickly bursts, because both in terms of personnel and organization, GDG works hand in hand with the AfD in Cologne and to some extent also with the neo-Nazi scene from North Rhine-Westphalia. This was clearly visible during their hike last year on October 3rd. 
It is clear: Here in Cologne, the GDG is clearly the link between the AfD and the CDU. The firewall has long been a lie here. 

This time it hit the GDG location. However: rights have names and addresses. 
It doesn’t matter whether it’s Hamburg, Mannheim or Cologne. The fascists must be attacked where they feel safe. Be it the regulars' table in the brewery or your own apartment. It's time to act!
