DOWN WITH GERMAN IMPERIALISM!

October 3rd is celebrated by the German imperialists as the “Day of German Unity”, on which those in power in the Federal Republic of Germany celebrate their “victory”. October 3rd is a day they call “reunification,” but it was nothing but an annexation. In reality, they are celebrating their new Greater Germany, which they hoped would realize the dreams of the Third Reich, to whose direct successor they see themselves.

The GDR was founded as an anti-fascist state on the basis of the victory over German fascism, for which many comrades gave their blood and as a necessary reaction to the founding of the Federal Republic of Germany. The GDR was later taken over by the revisionists. The annexation of the GDR was followed by the robbery of the East, which brought with it an enormous impoverishment of the working people. The industry was sold off by the Treuhand and almost all management positions were filled with people from West Germany. The people in eastern Germany were made into second-class citizens and to this day they receive, on average, around a fifth less wages than their class siblings in the west. Accordingly, the majority of them reject their “liberation” by Hitler’s heirs.

The annexation of the GDR was an important impetus for German imperialism's ambition to develop into an imperialist superpower. As a result, he took part in the imperialist wars of aggression against Yugoslavia, Afghanistan and Mali. Even today they are actively involved in the genocide in Palestine and support the USA in its war against Iran, which violates international law. The drones used to slaughter the Iranian civilian population are controlled via Rammstein. In return, German imperialism receives support for its march against Russia in the Baltics.

But the efforts of German imperialism are repeatedly defeated, as in Kabul. Today peoples all over the world are fighting against imperialism. In Latin America, Asia and Africa, his rule is repeatedly shaken by national liberation movements. The fire of war is spreading in many regions. The people's wars in the world illuminate the path of revolution. The struggle of peoples is developing rapidly and unevenly all over the world. Imperialism has to take one blow after another. This shows again and again the urge of the peoples of the world and the international proletariat towards revolution. The International Anti-Imperialist League (AIL) is committed to helping to support and unite the anti-imperialist forces active in these struggles.

At the same time, we see how German imperialism is sinking ever deeper into its own crisis, and its representatives, today the regime of the fraudster Merz, are running from fire to fire, desperately playing fire brigade. The results show how great the success is: a crisis of parliamentarism, years of deep, persistent economic crisis and the worst poll results for a chancellor in the history of the Federal Republic of Germany.

The plans of German imperialism and this government keep failing and they are unable to develop a strategic plan. At the same time, the peoples of the world and the revolution are on the advance. The disintegration of imperialism is well underway and it is decaying more and more every day. The situation in the world and in the Federal Republic of Germany is excellent for the revolutionaries.

The rulers want to hoist their black-red-yellow, the legacy of black-white-red and the swastika flag, on this October 3rd. Let us join our brothers and sisters around the world and tear down their flag and burn it on this day.
