The Project Evasions needs cash money

The Projet-Evasions is a multilingual network of anarchist friendships that has existed since 2019. After seven joyful years of carrying out our small activities*, it is now time to ask for your support.

By “small activities” we mean: doing things in which we see meaning, emancipatory and revolutionary potential as well as anarchist perspectives. By “things” we mean the creation of a variety of content (books, brochures, articles, podcasts, audio clips, stickers, magazines, postcards, games, exhibitions, posters), the execution ofhttps://projet-evasions.org/vortrage/"class="spip_out" rel="external">Workshops and presentations,the creation of tools against repression, as well as extensive dissemination work. All of this in many different languages, because – did we already say it? – we are a multilingual project that extends across several language areas.

We create content because we want to share it, as well as tools that other people can use. Most of the time we create our content ourselves, but sometimes we also work with external people. We publish all printed versions at a freely selectable price; Each person is free to decide, depending on their own possibilities, what they can and want to give in return. In parallel, everyone ishttps://projet-evasions.org/download/"class="spip_out" rel="external">digital versionsof our productions available free of charge on our website.

The money we have is mostly used for printing costs. Even though we mainly work with a friendly printing company who is incredibly supportive, printing costs remain our largest expense. Second is shipping costs, which increase every year. When sending abroad, the postage and customs fees are often higher than the printing costs of the publication we are sending. We also regularly buy books and other self-published publications, which we pass on freely, and in the best times of our financial situation we were able to support imprisoned anarchists and projects that were looking for money on several occasions and, on rare occasions, finance part of our travel costs and working time. The last item we spend is the cost of our website and a few logistical details.

At the time of writing, our account balance is exactly 741 Swiss francs and 123 euros, and if we want to replenish it, it is because we have several projects that will soon be ready to go to print. To give an idea: The printing of the 1,000 copies of “https://projet-evasions.org/illegale-elegance/"class="spip_out" rel="external">Illégale élégance“ cost us 3,000.–, i.e. 3.– per copy, and printing the 4,000https://projet-evasions.org/polizeiverhor/"class="spip_out" rel="external">Books about interrogationscost us 16,000.–, i.e. 4.– per book.
