Proloskneipe in October: Cuba defies US blockade & Crisis: backgrounds, impressions and perspectives – Lecture and discussion with delicious food and cheap drinks

On Friday, October 23rd, we met the chairman of the Cuba e.V. network. V. and board of the Friendship Society Berlin-Kuba e. V. Dr. Edgar Göll as a guest at our Prolos pub. Dr. Edgar Göll is sociology and lecturer in future research at the Free University of Berlin. He has been dealing with Cuba in detail since 1993 and writes regularly for the online platform Amerika21.

The following questions will be addressed:

What are actually the reasons and background for the US policy against Cuba? What are the current policies of the Trump-Rubio regime? What is it like in Cuba at the moment? How are people in Cuba dealing with the disastrous effects of the US blockade? What are the reasons for Cuba's resilience? Will there be a US military attack? What are the prospects for Cuba and its socialist development? What is the solidarity movement doing? What must or can we do?
